Pilates exercises with emphasis on the core, designed to be performed on a Mat. Focuses on spine support, increased flexibility, lower back health, muscle tone and body balance. Body weight is mostly used for resistance. There are different levels, from simple to complex. Beginners to Pilates must begin with Mat 1 classes.
This class is recommended for people with no or minimal experience with Pilates. Learn the principles of alignment, breath and pelvic stabilization.
Focus will be on the introduction of the basic principles of the Pilates Technique and the basic mat exercises to build a strong and stable core.
This mat work class will take Pilates students, who completed the PILATES MATWORK 1 and 2, to the next level.
The Reformer combines spring resistance with a moving platform to increase the challenge of the core while working every muscle on your body. The Jumpboard adds some extra challenge and a cardiovascular workout.
